The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has recently published the provisional answer key for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023.
Those who have taken the GATE 2023 exam can access the answer key on the official website of the exam, gate.iitk.ac.in. To view the answer key, candidates will have to log in using their enrollment ID or email address and password.
The GATE 2023 exam was held on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2023, at various exam centers throughout the country.
However, it should be noted that this is only the provisional answer key, and candidates have the option to raise objections between February 22 and February 25.
The results for GATE 2023 will be announced on March 16, and the scorecards will be available on March 21.

- Open the candidate login portal
- Log in to the candidate portal by entering your enrollment ID or email address and password
- Check the answer key and calculate your marks.
GATE 2023: About exam
The GATE 2023 exam is a computer-based test that lasts for three hours and comprises 65 questions, including multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple-select questions (MSQs), and numerical answer type questions (NATs).
Out of these 65 questions, 10 questions are from general aptitude and the remaining 55 are from the subject paper. The exam is worth a total of 100 marks.
Additionally, the GATE 2023 result holds significant importance as it is recognized by public sector undertakings (PSUs) for recruiting eligible candidates.
This means that candidates who perform well in the GATE exam have a better chance of securing employment opportunities in various government-run organizations.
