Thousands of candidates have applied online for the post of PC, but there are only 3064 vacancies available. To select the most qualified candidates, KSP has decided to conduct a recruitment test in two stages – a written exam and a physical test.
The official announcement of the KARNATAKA PC EXAM DATE 2023 will be made soon. Those who participate and score above the cut-off marks in the written exam will be invited to take the PST and PET.
KSP PC Exam Pattern 2023
The Karnataka State Police (KSP) has released the official exam pattern for the post of PC. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and will consist of an objective and descriptive test, with a total of 150 marks questions.
Candidates should be aware that the descriptive test will consist of three questions – Essay Writing, Precise Writing and Translation of Sentences – with a weightage of 50 marks.
The objective test will comprise 100 MCQs from eight sections, with each question carrying a weightage of 1 mark. Negative marking will also be implemented, with 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect response. Aspirants will have an exam duration of one and a half hours to answer the maximum number of questions in the written examination.

KSP PC Selection Process 2023
Candidates selection for the post of Police Constable in Karnataka Police is going to be done on the basis of their performance in two following stages:
- Written Examination
- Physical Standard Test / Physical Endurance Test
Candidates need to know that KSP will conduct the first stage of selection process in March 2023 in offline mode across the State at various exam centres, those who will be able to score at least cut off marks will be called for the PST and PET, aspirants who will qualify final stage will be called for Documentation and then final selection list will be released officially.
